The percentage of women working in India's blue- and grey-collar workforce has increased just over one point in six years, according to data from BetterPlace. Women made up 13.2% of 102,905 workers in blue-collar roles at the end of 2021, compared to 11.96% in 2017. The challenges of women in the workforce are due to a lack of enabling support systems, cultural biases and stereotypes, according to experts.from Careers-Economic Times
