The production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme has helped catalyse electronics manufacturing in India. Yet, it’s a long road ahead to bridge gaps in the ecosystem. This includes local components manufacturing, local chip sourcing, creating global scale logistics, and eventually Made-in-India brands. But is India ready to take the leap?
