India is taking baby steps in shipping-container manufacturing. But making containers may be the easiest part, as finding buyers for them will be a tall order, considering the huge difference in prices of Chinese and Indian containers. To achieve economies of scale like their Chinese counterparts, Indian companies should target the global market.
