Over 5000 companies across retail, telecom, IT/ITeS, electronics and automotive sectors participated in the event, the ministry said. “Under the initiative, nearly 51,991 apprentices were hired and the event witnessed participation from more than 5000 organisations, operating in more than 30 sectors,” it said in a statement.
