As Christmas nears, China’s biggest shipper says there’s no end in sight for supply-chain crisis

Soaring demand in the US and Europe has disrupted global supply chains, given China’s central role in them, says Feng Bo, deputy general manager of China Cosco Shipping, the world’s third-largest container carrier. Manufacturers including Apple, Samsung, and Toyota have been forced to cut production due to a lack of key components, and shipping costs have skyrocketed.
